Another incredible Paarl Interschools has come to an end, and what a weekend it was! Once again, our town came alive as schools, athletes, families and supporters gathered to celebrate one of the biggest highlights on the school sports calendar.

At Winelands Square, we were proud to be part of the excitement and to support our local schools and the wider Paarl community throughout the weekend. From the incredible sporting talent to the team spirit, traditions and support from the sidelines, Interschools was a wonderful reminder of what makes this event so special.

Thank you to everyone who visited Winelands Square and made us part of your Interschools weekend. It was a pleasure welcoming so many familiar faces and visitors to the centre, and we hope you left Paarl with plenty of great memories.

Paarl's Meeting Hub

During the 2026 Inter Schools this year, Winelands Square was the perfect meeting hub for supporters, families and friends looking to take a break between fixtures, enjoy a meal, catch up with friends or simply soak up the Inter Schools atmosphere.

Visitors could catch all the action on the big screen at Winelands View, cheering on their teams alongside fellow supporters and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere throughout the centre.

For families with younger children, Mini Ninja was the perfect spot for kids to burn off some energy while parents relaxed, enjoyed a coffee or explored everything Winelands Square had to offer.

Visitors could also explore our indoor local market, showcasing a wonderful selection of handmade products, local art, gifts, clothing, delicious treats and unique finds from talented community vendors.

During the 2026 Interschools this year, visitors to Paarl could take a break from the fixtures and explore our Local Indoor Market at Winelands Square.

The market brought together a wonderful selection of local vendors showcasing handmade gifts, clothing, accessories, home décor, delicious treats, artisan products and unique finds. It was the perfect opportunity to support local small businesses while enjoying a relaxed shopping experience with family and friends between fixtures.

With plenty to see, great places to eat, live sport on the big screen at Winelands View, and Mini Ninja keeping the younger siblings entertained, Winelands Square offered something for everyone throughout the Interschools weekends.
